Ankmax M2U32C is a high-speed 2bay NVMe M.2 SSD enclosure with offine clone function. The USB 3.2 interface can provide high-speed data transmission up to 10Gbps. Designed for two NVMe M.2 SSD. Read from and write to both SSDs simultaneously! Support mirror copy between two SSDs and Offline Clone function. The aluminum alloy material and 100% tool-free design.

Designed for NVMe M.2 SSD

Supports M key and B+M key interfaces, compatible with four sizes of NVMe SSD: 2230 / 2242 / 2260 / 2280. Single SSD capacity of up to 8TB."

"Up to 806MB/s Offline Cloning Speed

No need to connect to a computer, ANKMAX M2U32C enables one-click high-speed cloning from SSD1 to SSD2 (SSD2 must have equal or larger capacity than SSD1). The cloning speed between SSDs can reach up to 806MB/s, completing the cloning process between two 1TB NVMe SSDs in approximately 20 minutes and 40 seconds. (Test environment: SSD1 Samsung 990Pro 1TB, SSD2 WD Black SN850 1TB. Speeds are for reference only and may vary with different SSD models)."

Supports System Disk Cloning

ANKMAX M2U32C supports cloning of system disks, allowing for complete cloning of the entire system disk. After cloning, the cloned disk can be directly replaced and used as the system disk, providing a convenient tool for system installation and secure backups."

One-Click Cloning, Simple and Reliable

By pressing and holding the offline cloning button on the M2U32C for more than 5 seconds, all cloning progress indicator lights will illuminate. At this point, the button can be released, and the four LED progress indicator lights will start blinking in a cycle, while the SSD1 and SSD2 indicator lights will also begin blinking, indicating that the cloning process has started.

When the cloning reaches 25%, the 25% indicator light will stop blinking and remain solid, while the other three LED progress indicator lights continue to blink in a cycle, indicating 50%, 75%, and finally 100% completion, making the cloning progress clear at a glance."

"Dual-Drive M.2 SSD Enclosure

In addition to supporting offline cloning between SSDs, ANKMAX M2U32C is also a high-speed USB 3.2 10Gbps mobile hard drive enclosure that supports simultaneous reading and writing with two NVMe SSDs. It can be used to store everyday files, photos, videos, and other data."

"10Gbps USB 3.2 Gen2 Transfer Speed

With a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C output interface, it supports a transfer speed of 10Gbps. In testing, the read/write speed of the SSD1 interface can reach up to 880MB/s, and the read/write speed of the SSD2 interface can reach up to 990MB/s. (Test environment: Samsung 990Pro 1TB, WD Black SN850 1TB, Macbook Air, Black Magic Disk Speed Test)"

"12V 4A High-Current Adapter

With the increasing capacity of SSDs, the power requirements for SSDs are also growing, especially when using two high-capacity SSDs simultaneously. ANKMAX M2U32C comes with a 12V 4A high-current adapter, providing sufficient power for future upgrades to larger-capacity SSDs, eliminating concerns about power supply."

"Wide Compatibility

Supports hot-swapping of hard drives, making it very convenient to use. Supports UASP and Trim, effectively improving the speed and extending the lifespan of SSDs. Compatible with multiple operating systems: Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Android, iPad OS.

Includes 2 USB A to C and USB C to C cables for easy use with devices featuring USB C or USB A ports."

"Tool-Free Design for Quick and Convenient Installation

100% tool-free installation of SSDs, compact and portable, plug and play, no need for driver installation, instantly satisfying fast file data processing needs. Unique screwless all-aluminum protective cover design for comprehensive protection and better heat dissipation performance."

"Stylish and Durable All-Aluminum Enclosure

With a solid aluminum alloy body and unique CNC cutting technology, it combines stylish aesthetics with product stability and durability, capable of withstanding drops of up to 2 meters. The all-aluminum body also provides excellent heat dissipation, helping to maintain optimal performance of the SSD. The accessories include 2PCS heat dissipation stickers, which can be attached to the inner side of the cover for enhanced SSD cooling during prolonged usage."

"How to Install an SSD:

Easily remove the magnetic cover by pulling it in the OPEN direction.

Remove the rubber fastener above the SSD slot.

Insert the SSD into the M.2 slot at a 45-degree angle.

Secure the SSD in place using the rubber fastener that was previously removed.

Slide the cover back in place to complete the installation.

Note: If the SSD needs to work continuously for a long time, it is recommended to attach the included heat-dissipating pad to the inner side of the cover to enhance SSD cooling."

How to Clone an SSD:

The device's cloning function completely clones the contents of SSD1 to SSD2, erasing all data on SSD2. Therefore, before starting the cloning process, please make sure to back up the data on SSD2 to avoid any loss.

The capacity of SSD2 must be equal to or greater than that of SSD1 for the cloning to proceed.

Ensure that the device and computer are disconnected before using the cloning function.

Once both the source SSD1 and target SSD2 are installed, and the SSD indicator lights are displaying normally when powered on, press and hold the cloning button on the device for more than 5 seconds. When all the cloning progress indicator lights are lit up, release the cloning button. The four LED progress indicator lights will start blinking, and the SSD1 and SSD2 indicator lights will also start blinking, indicating that the cloning process has started.

When the cloning reaches 25%, the 25% indicator light will stop blinking and remain solid, while the other three LED progress indicator lights will continue to blink in a loop. This sequence will repeat for 50%, 75%, and finally reach 100% with all four LED progress indicator lights remaining solid, indicating that the cloning process is complete.

"How to Connect to a Computer:

After the cloning is complete, you can connect the device to the computer using the provided USB cable.

Windows System: Due to the cloning process, all the data on SSD2 will be identical to SSD1, including the drive letter. In Windows systems, SSD2 will not appear in My Computer, but only SSD1 will be displayed. To access SSD2, right-click on My Computer, select Manage, click on Disk Management, locate the unrecognized SSD2, right-click, and select Online to assign a drive letter to SSD2.

Mac OS: When connecting to a Mac device, two SSD devices with the same name will appear on the desktop, making it difficult to identify which one is SSD2. To differentiate them, click on each device and check the Name and Extension sections in the displayed information. The SSD that has completed the cloning process will have a "1" appended as an extension at the end of its name. You can rename it for easier identification and usage."

"If your computer fails to recognize the SSD enclosure, follow these steps:

For a new SSD being used for the first time, it needs to be initialized in Disk Management to be detected and used properly.

The SSD needs to be fully inserted for it to function correctly. Ensure that the SSD is fully inserted into the M.2 interface slot at a 45-degree angle.

This device only supports NVMe M.2 SSD types. Make sure the SSD you insert is an NVMe M.2 SSD, not SATA or other types of SSD.

If the USB device is still not recognized in Windows or MacOS, please refer to the official website's product quick guide for troubleshooting steps and common issues."
